HISTORY

Porvoo's history

Porvoo is a medieval city established in the 14th century beside the river Porvoojoki and a medieval fortress. The old town of Porvoo is picturesque and thousands of tourists visit the town each year and stroll along the cobblestoned streets and admire the colourful historical buildings.

Old Town Public House

Old Town Public House was opened in the spring of 2010. It was located in the same place in Valtimotalo for 10 years, until moving across the street to a bigger location in December 2019.

Old Town Public House is popular among tourists as well as locals and is open every day.  Our goal is to be the friendliest pub in town, serving customers in an international atmosphere.

Come and witness that Guinness does travel and enjoy a happy evening with great company
